With groundbreaking technology that produces planet-friendly meat in days\u202finstead of months\/years, Meatable is setting a new standard for efficiency, sustainability, and scalability in the food industry. Our cultivated meat technology is designed to complement and integrate\u202finto traditional meat supply chains, offering opportunities for partnerships that strengthen the entire system.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Meatable&#8217;s process uses of pluripotent stem cells with patented opti-ox\u2122 technology, which enables cells to multiply and differentiate into mature muscle and fat cells (real meat) in a matter of days\u202f(vs. months\/years for traditional livestock). This process ensures superior taste and quality versus competition.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">[Expana] Given your background working in traditional animal agriculture, what made you transition from working in this sector to the cultivated protein industry? Why do you think this sector has so much potential?<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">[<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Jeff Tripician<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">] <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">As we all know, animal agriculture has been pivotal in ensuring there is enough food for a hungry population. Unfortunately, this type of agriculture does come with negative consequences: impact on the quality of our soil and water, its negative contribution to climate change and the number of animals required. It&#8217;s clear to me we cannot go on like this, as we&#8217;re already stretching the planet past its point of resiliency and demand for protein is set to grow by another 70% by 2050. This is the reason why I moved from the traditional meat industry to cultivated meat at Meatable.<\/span>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"auto\">I am convinced a collaboration between big meat and cultivated meat is the only viable answer to today&#8217;s challenges.
